Eastward and Artward

East is relative. I live in Winnipeg, so these tour dates all happen to the east of me, most of the time. I would love to connect, wherever we are relative to each other when that happens :) 

This tour marks an important shift for me: This is my first tour as a full-time musician. I have laid down my day jobs of years past, with gratitude for the livelihood and life they have sustained, and am leaning, trusting, bounding into a life that art built. Every fall I can remember I would be going back to work teaching right now. But this fall is different. This fall, as I leave on tour I am stepping over a threshold into new life, new identity: I am an artist now. Art is where I live.

This tour is a dream. So here I go. Eastward and artward. 

I'll be joined on these shows by my good friend Murray Jowett on fiddle. Life is neat.

An industry conference with out-of-this-world jamming. Open to conference attendees only.
